Non-hazardous waste disposal
Not everything is rubbish, green waste or hard fill. What is left is the inert bulk that still has to leave the property: scrap metal and sheet metal, broken furniture, mattresses, site junk and mixed debris that is not worth separating.
The non-hazardous category
It is defined by what it is not. Non-hazardous means inert and non-toxic — no chemicals, no gas cylinders, no asbestos, no contaminated soil, no medical or industrial waste. Everything in this category is bulky, mixed and safe to handle and transport under normal waste rules.
If you are not sure whether something is hazardous, describe it in your message and we will tell you honestly whether we can take it.
Mixed loads are normal here
A non-hazardous load often looks like a skip that has been filled without much sorting: lengths of scrap, sheet metal off a roof, broken furniture, a mattress, packaging. That is exactly what the service is for, and it is why the bin is rated to take the whole load in one pick-up.
Recyclables that can be separated cleanly — plastics, glass, cans, paper, cardboard — are worth keeping out of the mix. We will always ask.
Hazardous material is a different story
Gas bottles, paint and solvents, chemicals, batteries, asbestos and clinical waste need a specialist route, not a skip bin. We will point you at the right place rather than load it and hope for the best.
What’s included
- Scrap metal, sheet metal and roofing offcuts
- Broken furniture, mattresses and domestic whiteware
- Site junk and mixed inert debris
- No hazardous material — chemicals, gas bottles and asbestos need a specialist route
- One pick-up instead of several trips to the transfer station
Tell us what is in the pile
Send the material, the suburb, roughly how much there is and a couple of photos if you can. We come back with the bin size and a price for the job — no online booking, no call centre.
